Kent Christopherson has more than 36 years of M&A integration, operations, project development, engineering and C- Suite management experience in the midstream and upstream business.
Mr. Christopherson has managed and executed over $3.0 billion in new midstream pipelines and midstream infrastructure facilities and integrated over $ 4.1 billion in M&A facilities & company acquisitions over his 36 years in the midstream industry. His experience spans from truck, rail & ship terminals, crude oil gathering & transmission pipelines, salt water gathering & disposal wells and natural gas gathering, gas processing, helium processing, CO2 pipelines & EOR, air injection fire floods, nitrogen rejection units & natural gas transmission pipelines throughout the United States and Canada.
Mr. Christopherson served as Vice President of Engineering for Oxy Midstream Strategic Development LLC., where he was part of the executive team that developed the 420 mile, 306,000 barrel per day BridgeTex crude oil pipeline from the Permian Basin to Houston and the Texas City refineries. Oxy Midstream Strategic Development executed $1.7 Billion in midstream projects over 4 years. Mr. Christopherson has also served as Vice President-Chief Operations Officer of Hiland Partners developing midstream infrastructure in the Bakken Shale in North Dakota & Montana and in the Woodford shale in Oklahoma. Prior to Hiland, he served as Vice President of Operations for DCP Midstream and other management positions of increasing responsibility since 1991. Prior to joining DCP, Mr. Christopherson was employed by Western Gas Resources and Flopetrol-Johnson Schlumberger.
Mr. Christopherson earned a B.S. in Mining Engineering & Geology from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, a Masters of Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University and is a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional by the Society of Maintenance & Reliability Professionals and a Certified Lubrication Specialist by the Society of Tribologists & Lubrication Engineers. Mr. Christopherson serves American Corporate Partners as a Mentor helping Veterans entering the workforce after their military discharge.
