Harry Stahel has more than 30 years of finance, accounting, commercial transactions, M&A, and project development, and executive management experience in the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors of the energy business, both in the USA and in the UK.
Mr. Stahel has executed over $1.6 billion of transactions including the creation of new joint ventures, the development of new midstream assets, the sale of debt and equity securities, and the sale of non-strategic assets over his 30 years in the energy industry. His experience spans from upstream drilling, completion, and well production to midstream gas gathering, processing, transportation, & storage, to downstream gas fired power plants to natural gas marketing.
Mr. Stahel has also served as Director of Finance and Business Development of Enogex LLC (now Enable Midstream) in both the turnaround phase of the midstream gas gathering, processing, transportation, and storage businesses in Oklahoma, and later in the sale of $277 million of non-strategic assets, and subsequent development of midstream projects in Colorado and Utah. Mr. Stahel joined Enogex from Aquila Energy where he served as Director of Treasury where he financed the development of a 300 MW combined cycle gas fired power plant, and a $275 million gas storage facility in California; he also lived in London for 3 years while serving as Finance Director for the UK gas marketing business that was going through deregulation. Mr. Stahel also spent 5 years managing an internal audit department for Aquila, and 5 years in public accounting.
Mr. Stahel earned a B.S. degree in Finance and Accounting from Washington & Lee University in 1986 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1988.
