Dean Purcelli has more than 35 years of project design & development, business development with M&A integration, supply chain management, continuous process improvement and C-Suite management experience in the oil & gas business sector.
Mr. Purcelli has managed and executed over $3.0 billion in new and retrofit infrastructure facilities projects ranging from wellhead lease level equipment to downstream intrastate level storage including specialty facility processes throughout including H2S, CO2, S2, H2 and O2. Additionally, Mr. Purcelli was responsible for the business development of over $500 million in natural gas fueling project infrastructure and specialty process equipment for upstream services to producers for produced water recycle and cleanup and supplemental environmental advancement projects.
Mr. Purcelli most recently served as Senior Vice President of Stabilis Energy where he was responsible for market development, strategic partnership alliances and economic model feasibility for the use of natural gas as an alternative fuel within the high horsepower industry sectors (oil & gas, mining, marine, rail, truck transportation).
Mr. Purcelli had previously served as Strategic Marketing Advisor to Encana Natural Gas Inc. where the similar development of natural gas fuel infrastructure from supply through logistics and dispensing was accomplished alongside of America’s Natural Gas Alliance (“ANGA”) where Mr. Purcelli also served 4 years as National Marketing and Education Chair.
Mr. Purcelli moved into these strategic unconventional positions after serving with Encana Natural Gas as Vice President of Supply Chain and Vice President of Midstream where he provided business unit leadership over infrastructure builds for Encana in the USA deploying over $2.0 billion in strategic midstream infrastructure later sold into the MLP marketplace. Prior to joining Encana Natural Gas, Mr. Purcelli held various engineering and business development positions within Western Gas Resources.
Mr. Purcelli earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Black Hills State College and continued his professional development with formal technical training in engineering processes, advanced control designs and business training in corporate finance, organizational structure, human talent management and the application of formal innovation processes. Mr. Purcelli chaired or co-chaired numerous executive initiatives for talent management coaching and mentoring while with Encana and serves as a personal and professional business and life coach mentor to emerging leaders today.
